Menstrual blood could be rich source of stem cells - health - 15 November 2007 - New Scientist

It seems that everything is a source for stem cells. Is this good science, or is it a desperate attempt to get funding. I'm waiting for when they announce that they can get stem cells from fecal matter.

Photos from the Mars Odyssey probe has uncovered images of what might be caves or shafts on the planet's surface. Now, I'd normally be a bit sceptical about these things after the whole pyramid/face thing, but the possibilities are exciting.

Examination of the wrist bones of Homo floriensis suggests it may be distinct from modern humans after all, although proponents of the microcephally theory remain unconvinced.
